52663
We were wild and free
No inhibitions
We had fun all day
Free from distractions
We had each other
All we ever needed was
A bottle of Coke
And the presence of each of us
Nice to reminisce
All those days of yore
When we did nothing
But then we did learn more
Those days of laughter
So hard to forget
We were so crazy
So careless and yet
We were all alive
Lived for the moment
We really enjoyed
No dull moment spent
Though fear and despair
Lurked on the outside
We just didn’t care
But embraced life with arms wide
Now that we’re living
Very different lives
We hardly see each other
But the moment arrives
When we long for days
When we had no responsibilities
Just love and friendship
And endless possibilities
We were all alive
Lived for the moment
We really enjoyed
No dull moment spent
Though fear and despair
Lurked on the outside
We just didn’t care
But embraced life with arms wide
